Acceptable Use Policy

SnowArt — Acceptable Use Policy (AI-Generated Content)

Last Updated: July 31, 2026 · https://snowart.ai

SnowArt ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to providing safe, lawful, and responsible AI-generated content services. This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all content generated, published, distributed, or stored through SnowArt, and sets out our content standards, moderation practices, reporting procedures, and enforcement actions. All users of SnowArt must comply with this Policy. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all content types on the platform:

  • Images: AI-generated or AI-edited images and illustrations.
  • Video: AI-generated video clips.
  • User inputs (prompts): text prompts, editing instructions, and reference images submitted by users.

2. Content Standards & Prohibited Categories

SnowArt prohibits generating the following six categories of content:

  1. Pornography / NSFW content.
  2. Violence / gore.
  3. Hate speech.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM).
  5. Deepfakes / impersonation of real people.
  6. Content infringing copyright or trademarks.

The clauses below break these categories and other violations down further.

2.1 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following will be actioned immediately and may be reported to authorities:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors.
  • Content that promotes or facilitates terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
  • Technical instructions for weapons of mass destruction.
  • Content inciting genocide or ethnic hatred.
  • Non-consensual deepfake sexual content targeting real individuals.

2.2 Restricted — Subject to Review

  • Violent content: must have a clear creative or educational context.
  • Politically sensitive content: content that may be misleading about real events or real people.
  • Depictions of real public figures: prohibited where they impersonate, sexualize, or misrepresent the person.

2.3 Generally Prohibited Conduct

  • Generating or spreading misinformation presented as fact.
  • Impersonating real individuals, brands, or organizations.
  • Infringing intellectual property, publicity, or privacy rights — including generating copyrighted characters, logos, or trademarks for commercial use.
  • Deceiving others by passing AI-generated content off as authentic photography or human-created work in contexts intended to mislead.
  • Bulk-generating spam or deceptive commercial content.
  • Jailbreak prompts designed to bypass platform safety measures.

3. Content Moderation

We operate a multi-layer moderation system combining automated screening, provider-side safety filters, and human review.

3.1 Automated Prompt Screening (real-time)

Every user-submitted generation prompt is screened in real time before generation by an automated content-safety service (Waffo Prompt Sift), which performs keyword, semantic, and intent detection with a particular focus on child-safety violations. Prompts that fail screening are rejected and the generation does not run.

3.2 Model-Provider Safety Filters

The third-party AI models we use (listed in our Terms of Service) apply their own input and output safety filtering; unsafe generations are refused at the model layer as a second line of defense.

3.3 Human Review

  • Prompts flagged for review by the automated screening enter a human review queue operated by the content-safety provider.
  • User-reported content is reviewed manually by the operator.
  • Moderation decisions and logs are retained for 12 months.

3.4 Content Severity Levels

| Level | Description | Review | Action | | ------------- | ----------------------- | ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------- | | L1 — Critical | Child safety, terrorism | Auto-block + human confirmation | Immediate ban + report to authorities | | L2 — High | Severe violations | Auto-flag + priority review | Content removal + account suspension | | L3 — Medium | General violations | Human review | Warning + content removal | | L4 — Low | Minor violations | Report-triggered | Warning + edit required |

4. Reporting

4.1 When to Report

  • Content or behavior violating this Policy's content standards.
  • Critical violations involving child safety or terrorism.
  • AI impersonation or infringement of your own rights (including copyright).

4.2 Reporting Channels

  • Report email: support@snowart.ai (monitored daily; put "REPORT" in the subject line and include a link to or copy of the content)

4.3 Reporting Principles

  • Confidentiality: reporter identity is strictly protected.
  • Impartiality: all reports receive an objective review.
  • Anti-abuse: malicious or false reports are recorded and actioned.

5. Response & Processing Timelines

| Violation Type | Initial Response | Resolution | | -------------- | ---------------------- | ----------------------- | | L1 — Critical | Within 24 hours | Within 48 hours | | L2 — High | Within 2 business days | Within 5 business days | | L3 — Medium | Within 3 business days | Within 7 business days | | L4 — Low | Within 5 business days | Within 15 business days |
